Dr. Mitch Keating is a native to the Junction City area. In high school Dr. Keating was a three-sport athlete, and the impact that chiropractic had on his athletic career was a big factor in him becoming a chiropractor. After high school he attended Kansas State University, earning his degree in Kinesiology. Upon graduation, he attended Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, graduating Magna Cum Laude and earning recognition as one of the top student doctors of the year.
While in Kansas City for school, Dr. Keating was presented with the opportunity to work with several of the top sports chiropractors in the metro area, and upon graduation, he earned his accreditation as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). As a Chiropractic Sports Physician, Dr. Keating is trained to diagnose, treat, and manage sports related injuries.
In practice, Dr. Keating uses a wide variety treatment options to take care of his patients, both athletes and non-athletes alike. In addition to offering chiropractic care, he utilizes soft tissue/muscle treatments such Active Release Technique or ART. He is 1 of 400 Elite Providers for ART and is a Full Body Certified Provider as well. Combining chiropractic with ART, dry needling, and functional rehabilitation, he treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions including: rotator cuff injuries, strains and sprains, neck and back pain, headaches and migraines, plantar fasciitis, and more.
Dr. Keating currently serves as the Team Chiropractor of the Junction City Brigade semi-pro closely with area high school athletic teams and area fitness facilities.
